pastel life

several days ago, my old school mate had his birthday. i've known him since we were still in kindergarten, but after we finish the primary school, i never talked with him anymore. we never been such a good friend though, so it just makes sense if we never contact each other.

about a year ago, we met through facebook. because i never knew him well enough, so he's just being my ordinary friend. nothing's more. but, i have a habit, of looking into people's profile, especially when he/she has his/her birthday. and that's exactly what i'm doing.

and i found out that he is a painter. and a great amateur photographer.



ugh..i fell in love immediately with his photos xDD

the photos..how can i describe it? it's calm, though some are taken in indonesia, but i couldn't understand how he could take such calm colors. i want to learn how to take photos like that..

and after looking into all his photos, and absolutely, googling about him, i found out that he had held many exhibitions, including one in the singapore. and i found a blog post of an interview with him. ah, he's just so cool.. :D

i never knew this side of him.

he's actually a bachelor in visual communication design. i think he's working now like many of us in our age do. and he also has a blog, about his daily life, especially about his painting, exhibition and everything else that he likes. oh, and he can speak and write japanese too (><)o
